Adopt A Park Feb 2013

John McLellan Contracting Inc. has adopted a park! 

The City of Pickering has recognized our group as the adoptive partner of Alderwood Park.  The purpose of this is to enhance the environment and the community by improving City parks and green spaces.  It helps to provide a safe and clean natural environment for children to play and residents to participate in recreation and social activities.

As a participant we keep the adopted park area clean of litter and report any maintenance, vandalism or safety issues to the City.  John McLellan and staff members join forces to attend to the park clean up four times per year which gives us a great opportunity to give back to the community as well as enjoy some time together as a team.
